Dream It, Be It

This program is supported by SI-MSC, Action Network, and the Point Arena High School to support young people in planning to reach their dreams for a career.  The Dream It, Be It program is administered through the Action Network.

For current information about activities, please contact Action Network at 707-884-5413.

The Coastal Seniors Spaghetti Supper

The SI-MSC members gather annually in January at the Gualala Community Center to prepare a Spaghetti Supper to benefit the Coastal Seniors.  Coastal Seniors meets essential needs in our community, connecting seniors to services and the community as a whole.

For the Spaghetti Supper, SI-MSC members use standard recipes and instructions to prepare a tasty meal for the public.  We have a lot of fun, and welcome more help!  Learn more about the Coastal Seniors at or call 707-882-2137.

Midwives on Missions of Service

MOMS is an international non-profit, led by a member of SI-MSC, whose mission focuses on empowering women to make a difference in their communities.  MOMS works in Sierra Leone to teach women to provide sound, evidence-based maternity care and to advocate for what women and girls need to survive and thrive.

You can learn more about MOMS here: or call Trish Ross at 707-884-3621.

Other Organizations

SI-MSC has supported our library, Redwood Coast Medical Services, all the local schools, and most of the other services and agencies tending local needs.  SI-MSC members were instrumental in starting Action Network, Project Sanctuary, the Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers, and other agencies serving our community in many different ways, including our environment and the arts.
